Playing in the Snow (Flynn or Invite)(Flashback)

Yup, she was officially as insane as could be. The reasoning why? Well... that would be the ten foot wide by fifteen foot tall 'life size' ice castle that had ornate designs carved into it she had just completed with nothing more than her bare hands, some patience, and a good deal of vampiric strength and fingernails. She had found the large chunk of ice just days before and after having spent a good night staring at it had decided she wanted to create something out of it, and that was the first thing that had popped into her head.

Now that she had completed it she was inside of it; staring out at the obscured view that the ice caused. The castle had more than enough large doorways for one to actually get in and out of the castle through if one wanted to, and it was clear enough to allow the light from the fire and the full moon that hung above to provide more than enough light to see.

The top of the castle was open to the air above; only the walls actually solid. Demi leaned back on her hands and stared upwards just as she began to feel her hunger start to set in: she had been so busy working on this ice castle she had forgotten to bother eating, or feeling hungry at all for that matter because her mind had been stuck on its single goal. "Hnn..."

They'd found a nice spot up in the high country; so deep in the mountains that they could almost walk up to the bighorn sheep without them spooking. Almost, but not quite. Not that it mattered much; he'd taken a big old ram down without much problem; enough to keep them happy for nearly a week, even with how he ate. When she'd taken to carving up that ice block; he'd gone in to be sure he hadn't missed anything when he'd set up their camp. The large tent was settled properly; extra supports allowing him to build a nice snow cave around it for warmth. Once that snow had compressed and finished drying it'd be a solid shell of protection from the elements.

By the lack of sound coming from inside her new castle, she was done messing with it. Good, good. He considered for a moment, a small smirk appearing on his lips as he plotted. It took nothing for him to leap lightly onto the top of the castle walls, hanging by his elbows and the friction of his rear paw pads and staring down at her from above. "Done?"
